Future Alpha Seeks Partners for Edge Report 2026 Quant Survey

Future Alpha, the research arm of events group Alpha Events, is inviting firms to partner on The Edge Report 2026, a survey-based study of investment practices across the quantitative and systematic investment community. The announcement came via a direct sales email addressed to The Fintech Times, rather than a formal press release.

According to the outreach, the research covers alpha generation, alternative data, AI and machine learning, technology infrastructure and risk management. Future Alpha says survey results are already in, with the report due for publication shortly. No findings, headline statistics or named survey participants were included in the communication.

What partnership means

Partnership in this context is a paid content arrangement. Partners are offered brand placement on the report, the ability to contribute expert commentary alongside the findings, and access to leads generated from report downloads. The email explicitly positions participation as a commercial opportunity for firms whose customers include buy-side institutions investing in data, AI and infrastructure.

This is a standard sponsored-research model used widely in financial media and events. The commercial structure means the report’s editorial independence cannot be assessed from the available material. No methodology note, sample size, respondent breakdown or publication date was provided.

Future Alpha and Alpha Events are divisions of PLS Group, which describes itself as a large independent conference organiser. The email was sent by Thomas Lunn, event director, based at the firm’s London office at 7 Savoy Court.
